Adult Bible Fellowships
Engaging Studies in the Book of Luke
Join Alan Mezger Sunday mornings at 9:15 a.m. as he leads us through an expository study of Luke's Gospel. In this day of division and confusion, Luke shows us the unity brought by the timeless truths of Christ. This Study meets in the Fellowship Hall of the Cook Building (perpendicular to the sanctuary).
About the teacher: Alan graduated from Dallas Seminary (1978), was the founding pastor of Lake Almanor Community Church in California, and a member of the founding missionary team of Iglesia Biblica de Tlalpan in Mexico City. He has served in missions since the mid 80s and is currently the president of ARM ministries and an Elder at SBC. His passions are teaching the bible and discussing biblical leadership.
iParent101: a collection of topics for examination and discussion
Anybody with kids knows the challenge of parenting. What does a Chrisitan home look like? Who's in charge? How do I discipline?
Join Woody and Kathy Glenn Sunday mornings at 9:15 a.m. beginning September 12, as they lead us toward being a more intentionalParent. It's not just a 'how to' or 'what not to,' but a look at 'why?' with details from two survivors!
Come prepared to examine biblical principles, discuss methods, share successes (and failures) and laugh about the parenting adventure. This Study meets in the Fellowship Hall of the Cook Building (perpendicular to the sanctuary)
About the teachers: Woody and Kathy Glenn, married 36 years (we know many of you weren't born when they got married!), are the parents of 3 children--Abi (32), Elias (29), and Matthew (25). This Lawyer/Dietition combo aren't always on the same page, but took the "raising children" adventure together.
